Yon González: "I like to surprise the public and, above all, to myself"

Simple, at the same intelligent, Yon Gonzalez talks about his short but eventful career. Has just released "Torrente 4" and soon we will see in the second season of "Gran Reserva".


camera Look: Did you ever imagine you were in the highest grossing film in the history of English cinema?
Yon González: Well, little or no thought being an actor, and never entered my head. It was a good experience ... I have done very interesting work for me, facing a very different and fun. During the filming of "Torrente 4" I learned a lot while I had fun. I played a little, but I'm happy with the result.
Mac: I have understood you had very little time to prepare for this character.
YG: Yes, I got the script on Friday and Thursday afternoon the following week, I started shooting the movie. It was a bit hard, because at the same time also was filming "The Internship".
Mac: What's life a shoot with co-workers, as Belén Esteban or Paquirrín , who are not actors?
YG: I had only six scenes, and all were with Tony Leblanc and Santiago Segura. I did not agree with them, so I can not answer.

Mac: I had a good reference at home: your brother. Do you make it up that first test?
YG: No, I helped with that casting was Look Ibarguren . We spent about three hours working on the text, which helped me a lot. My brother helped me at other levels, because I knew nothing about this profession, and had not even read a script in my life.
Mac: recently had your first theatrical experience Microteatro Money. What encouraged you to embark on this project?
YG: met Miguel Alcantud , the director of the play, because he was running a few chapters into "The Internship". Miguel is a great director and made everything very easy and simple.
Mac: How remember your first performance in Microteatro?

NC: Completely . I am a person who can not be more than one time in the same place and with the same classmates, because I overwhelmed. Mac: What is the best thing an actor can offer your audience?
NC: Truth. Have things from absolute sincerity. I see many movies in which actors know that these things are telling me and I am really disappointed as a spectator. You can tell they have done such work for more money, because they want a bigger house or because it is the only thing they have offered this year. I want to see actors who really deliver. And if you see that you will not be able to give everything in a job, it is best not to. I really have offered bills that I did not want to do or where you do not believe, and I preferred not to make, and borrow money to pay the rent. This is a profession so hard, where you get so few opportunities, that when it comes to be seized by a hundred percent and give the best of oneself.
Mac: Dreaming of the day you get a main character?
NC: But I prefer to do side projects in which I trust, to have a protagonist in a film that does not create and I'm not going to contribute anything. I always thought it is better to take small steps, but with confidence. This is a very beautiful profession in which to do things from the love and passion for the job.
